I ordered this bass a while ago. I just got it today, but cannot afford to keep it. I have only opened the box and tested it to make sure it works. And it works beautifully! It's a 4001C64, which is modeled after McCartney's bass. It has the reverse headstock, and has been discontinued by Rickenbacker. This is not the C64S, which has a zero fret and shaved down horns.
$2700 shipped in the USA. Paypal OK. Thanks |

As you can see our friend's gloss finish is much nicer.
D Bopp - nice new price!! This will be gone in no time! It is a terrific bass!! Gloss all the way! |
I stand corrected. Thanks Gibenbacker! And yes the glossy finish looks much nicer than the satin. But I must add, the satin is only available on the C64S. This is the C64, meaning it does not have a zero fret and the horns are not shaven down like Paul's bass. IMO the C64 looks a little nicer. |

The strings rest on the zero fret. I've heard that you can get lower action with it. I do have a C64S myself but have never tried to get it as low as possible. |
