I'll be posting photos tonight, so this is just a heads up:
Got this amazing Jazz bass last year, and it hasn't seen much action. I love the 70s styling of these way more than previous Deluxe models, but I guess I've decided I'm more of a P-bass and Rickenbacker guy. This should go to somebody who's really going to get some use out of it. I've only played it a few times at home -- no gigs or studio time. Besides the plastic being removed from the pickguard, it's in brand new shape, better than you'd find hanging on the wall at Guitar Center. I paid $1600 new. I'd like to get $1200 OBO shipped (via Paypal or money order) to the continental US.
Here are the specs:
3-tone sunburst w/black pickguard
alder body
maple neck (satin back, glossy headstock) with bound and blocked rosewood board, graphite support rods
70s-style logo decal
N3 noiseless pickups
active electronics (vole, blend, treble, mid, bass, active/passive switch)
high-mass string-through bridge
bone nut, Schaller strap locks.
Comes with original SKB molded case and most of the case candy.
