Ok guys, as part of my ongoing insanity, I am listing yet another minty nearly new bass for crazy low pricing.
I know....I know.....you guys are like this guy is wacko.
naw, not wacko....Just have insanely bad G.A.S. for two particular basses I have pending deals on.
So I need sell off three to buy the two.
I also have two other amazing minty basses listed check out my other for sale threads for a 2011 LE Gibson USA Tbird...and a 2010 Special order USA G&L L-2000 too.
Ok so about this Big al.
I bought this Big Al maybe 3-4 months ago in the early fall.
I had been wanting to try one out for a long time.
I picked up this one only a few months old from the original owner here on TB.
It came with two pickguards....a black one that was on it. And a EBMM factory Pearloid white one that I put on it when I bought it.
I really like the pearloid one on the Cabernet Pearl....looks stunning in person!!
The pics do not come close to doing this bass or this color any justice!!
The rosewood fretboard has the most beautiful figuring in it.
Beautiful grain with a bunch of red coloring in the rosewood.
The neck is the smooth finished EBMM maple neck.
That satiny smooth goodness that Musicman has become known for.
The SSS pups are killer and have so much variety in tone...
Big poppa ( Sterling Ball ) the owner of Musicman says go with the "all buttons up" setting. And I have to say he is right on the money.
This thing is a fantastic does it all type of bass.
It has the easy to play and get around on Musicman US Sterling neck on it as all Big Al's do.
It is a pleasure to play AND to listen to.
I would not let it go, But I bought another one of these about a month after this one. I liked this one so much.
The other one I bought brand new from a dealer and got killed on the price. SO cannot let go of that for that reason. I am too deep into it and thus have to let this go and keep that one for the moment.
This bass is pretty much mint....nothing to report on really except one teenie tiny little black ding....which was on it when I bought it.
It is on the front about an inch or so to the left of the neck pup.
Other than that she is minty for sure!!
Comes with the fitted factory EBMM molded hard shell case ....
I am not sure of the strings? It has the ones on it that came with it when I bought it.
I only played it maybe an hour tops in my home....
I think they are some sort of Flats?
They feel and sound smoother than the normal round wounds I play.
But you can easily pop on your fav string and be good to go to your personal style......
Ok so there ya are....buy it now, I am listing it on ebay to for a buy it now....this one is for sure going to go there if not here at this price!!
