Up for grabs is the much loved here on talkbass American Vintage pbass in Olympic white/rosewood board. I am the original owner and just recently purchased the bass from an authorized Fender dealer. ...Bass has only been played at home and has never seen a single gig. There is 1 ding (see pic) .. and other than that..it is in EXCELLENT...NEAR MINT CONDITION! Grab it while u can!

Bump with price reduction

I searched high and low for an AV 62 pbass yesterday. No luck, I bought a jaguar bass...now this pops up. Ugh...just my luck.

Has the ding been sanded down or is it "raw"? Is the nut 1 3/4" or 1 5/8"? Does it have the CS '60s pickup?

You know, the price on this beauty is to the point where it's almost worthwhile to learn how to fix body dings if that's what's holding you back. A little superglue, some oly white paint, a bit of sanding...

...or complete the relic job so it looks like it's been loved for half a century!

This is a ridiculously good price. I am tempted to buy it, but I do enjoy seeing my kids more often than every other weekend. Amazing.

And, for the record, I like the ding in it!
