I just got hit with a slew of large unexpected bills, things breaking / blowing up, etc.
As such, I have decided to put up for sale my minty 30th Anniversary Stingray.
In the opinion of those who know their Stingrays, the mahogany body contributes to these limited edition basses having the deepest, earth-shaking growl and a more "balanced" sound than the regular 'rays. And don't forget the slap sound that we all know and love...
I went over this really thoroughly and I can't spot any marks on her. There is a tiny bit of very fine scratches on the pickguard from the roundwound strings but thats about it.
The special commemorative case is of course included and the case has a couple of small scratches that must have occurred when shipped to me. It also has this weird small brass tack on the back side in the middle; maybe it's on all the cases, I don't really know. If someone does, please let me know. I didn't sweat it to much as it is a case, after all.
Weight according to my bathroom schedule is around 10lbs (it may be a shade under but I'll round up to be on the safe side).
Asking $1225 shipped in the continental USA.
I'm not looking for trades unless you have a Roscoe Beck IV and are also willing to throw in some additional cash to equalize the values.
Thanks for looking.
Stephen

First is a picture of the scratching on the case and the second is the brass superfluous nipple on the back.

The case that came with my 30th SR has this same tack. Weird but standard issue. Great bass! Good luck with the sale. |

I have also decided to be open to some trade options (with cash +/ -, as applicable). A straight sale would still be my preference, though.
Your bass would need to be:
1) 4-string only
2) fretted
3) maple or ebony board preferred (not a deal killer, though).
4) jazz-width nut (or absolutely no more than 1 5/8")
5) 9lbs or less
I like Fender Roscoe Beck's, Modulus VJ's, Reverend Rumblefish JJ's, Lakland Skyline Decade's (and other Laklands in general), MIA Fenders, etc.
Please have your offer be sensible (i.e. no Trabens or off-shore Peaveys) and interesting - Worst I can do is say "no".
thanks!

While I would love to sell outright ($1200 shipped obo), I have also decided to be open to more trade options (with cash +/ -, as applicable). A straight sale would still be my preference, though.
