4 basses FS...

Sign in to disble this ad
1) Lava Pearl (looks like Candy Apple Orange) 2004 Stingray 4. Matching headstock. Maple board. 3 band eq. Some bumps here and there, but nothing major. Neck is amazing. Sounds fantastic. Great shape. Everything works great on it. Comes with beat up HSC. $850 obo

2) 2001-ish Trans Teal 2 band eq Stingray 4. Maple neck. Some bumps & dings here and there, but plays amazing. Was told by the guy I got it from that this was used for 1 night of a tour in Italy by Mr. Musicman himself, Tony Levin. Bass has mojo for days. I love the sound of the 2 band eq. Comes with an almost new MM HSC. (pics to come) $875 obo

3) Fender P5. Candy Cola Red. Maple board. Great shape. Missing a patch of paint (looks a little road worn). Nothing that affects playability. Sounds fantastic. Video of me using it at www.myspace.com/zaksparks. Comes with OHSC and some of the case candy (if I remember where I put it). I'll kick myself for this one, but I'm itching for something new. $875 obo

4) 2003 Highway 1 J bass. This is heavily modded and road worn. All wear is real and legit and looks right. Neck is amazing. I am the original owner of this one and used it for 100s of shows with no issue. I have installed a batter box on the back, sadowsky pre-amp w/VTC, hipshot tuners w/ D-tuner, Bartolini 9J1 Single coil pickups, shielded cavities. Comes with Lakland Levis gig bag. $750 obo

Please note that all bumps, dings, and scratches are purely cosmetic only. These are player basses and have been all around the country with me making me money. I wouldn't play them if they didn't play and sound great!

The ONLY trades considered would be a 2, 3, or 4 for 1 towards a Sadowsky J5 of some sort, Sadow PJ5, Marcus Miller 5, or an Alleva Copollo (not likely to happen, but hey I can dream). If it is a multiple bass trade on my end, hopefully its local or within a few hours drive.

I concur....I know that (if) when any of these sell, I'm gonna be kicking myself royally...but I'm really gassing for a Marcus Miller 5 at the moment, or maybe a Sadowsky.

the neck and action are fantastic on it. I had it down to below 5/64" on the G but pulled it back up just a hair to dig in on it. It can go really low if you're light on the touch. I like to dig a little on it to get that P bass growl out of it though. The neck isn't as chunky as the old Fender 5s used to be. It's got a good chunk to it, like a P bass neck, but still not too think front to back. It's just really comfy.

And I know the question is gonna come up sooner or later: "How's the B string?" It's great. I wouldn't have kept it and played it so much if it was floppy and undefined.
