Moving next week, have to lighten my load.
I'm a jazz bass guy (see the link -
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/4...t10527794)...I) really dont play the ones I'm about to list...So...here it goes....(no trades please, pricing firm)....I am not looking to 'make money', as much as recover what I paid or have put into these.
1- Mid 90s Fender Precision Foto Flame:
I just got this bass back from Marty Bell. The original foto, or finish if you will....it was chipping...so off to Marty it went, and came back a wonderful Lake Placid Blue. Thus, the bass is pretty much perfect, and has been professionally set up. Plays like a dream. The neck has the 'hamburgler', should you know that story, and has a bad ass bridge (i dont have orig). Comes with gig bag. pics -

2- 1984 Peavy Foundation:
Awesome bass, which I just had re-fretted. The color, while not unusual, is certainly harder to find than the blacks and reds that I have been tracking on ebay for a year now. It's just been set up, has a hip shot drop D tuner on it, and i had the electronics compartment re-shielded. Its got some minor dings on it, but overall, pretty darn good condition. pics -

3- 1983 Fender Precision Elite II: SOLD
I really hate to see this one go, considering I have had it since high school. Its almost perfect, with one little ding on the back. Plays like a dream with really low action at the moment. A rare, near mint Elite II bass . It's got two white cover, split-coil humbucking pickups and a fine-tuner bridge made by Schaller. It also has a 2 band EQ with an active/passive toggle switch. This was a limited production bass and one of the last manufactured in the Fullerton, CA plant. It's all original.

4- 1979 Gibson Grabber G-3 SOLD
What can I say....it growls...solid like a rock, and considering its age, its in really good shape. A few scratches on the back of the neck, and a ding on the head stock (i did my best to take macros of it)....plays really good, straight neck, lots of fret life...bla bla bla, etc etc etc. I have the original case too, which I think isn't the easiest thing to find.
