Cool bass...wish it was a fiver...

Anyhoot, it looks like you own quite a few single humbucker EBMMs, how does the Big Al single H compare tone-wise?

It's seriously versatile for a single H (active/passive/series/parallel); great preamp w/really amazing tone - can get close to a Ray and P-bass . . . it's an extremely comfortable and great looking bass IMO; I'll miss the tones, just not as comfortable with the J-type, smaller neck (XL hands).
