5 String Clement Phoenix FS feeler

I love this bass...

I have a baby due...and we need to make way which means I need to downsize...and I'm on the fence about moving this, but let's see if there is any interest...

Believe me Tom, I'm not thrilled about this...

Here are the specs:

5 string 19mm spacing
Hipshot Brass bridge
Hipshot tuners
Nordstand Big Singles
Glockenklang 5 band pre w/ passive active switch

Swamp Ash body with Flamed Redwood top
Maple neck wenge stringers
Ebony fretboard.

This bass is perfectly balanced and is frankly the easiest bass I've played...the neck depth is shallow and the pocket cutaway makes it easy to get into the upper registers.

The tone in passive mode is warm and singing and in active it has quite a bit of muscle. The Glock is transparent and you know what the Nordy's do...

The bass has a a crack in the veneer near the preamp where the bass took a stage accident, much to my horror. It is only noticable in certain lights. There is some slap player wear on this as it is light poly finish. I will update this with recent pics tonight.

For you now, here's a link to Tom's sight:

I have a clip or two of this lovely wonder. Zip me an email and I can send you a clip...

$1500 + shipping ( new this was over 2K )
