Chiming in for a nice bass and a good price. I bought a backup bass of this model from jaibeau and have been very pleased with it. Curious...what do you string it with? I have found some flats that very nearly are long enough but am looking for options. Nice bass, though and difficult to find semi-hollow 5 strings

When I owned this bass I used X-Long Scale Elixirs and they just fit.

The X-Long Scale Elixirs were recommended to me as well. When I had some work done on it they put on some DRs (x-long, flat...can't remember the name) but the B string starts tapering right at the nut...almost :-) It's still pretty playable but I think next time I'll do the Elixirs...

Adrian, No worries.

Regarding the strings....not sure. Would love to try it w/ flats.....kinda what it's made for IMHO.

Have a La Bella deal....If I had kept it would probably had them make an XL set of flats.

My 2 cents.
