'51 Fender Precision Bass - Tele Bass - MINT! - Butterscotch Blonde

Just like it says, this bass is a gorgeous '51 re-issue that was made in Japan. It's serial number indicates it was manufactured in 1994-95... but this girl is brand, spanking new. Probably less than one hour of playing time. No dings, no scratches, nothing! She was recently set up and got some new round wound strings, but I have come to terms with the fact that I just don't like how the P-bass neck feels. I'm into the very slim profiles and frankly, I just always end up playing my Carvin.

I'm including the chrome bridge cover which I never installed.
Asking $720 shipped.

I'm not really looking for trades, but I will probably consider a really awesome vintage short-scale hollow body.

Here are all the specs from Fender in case you're interested:

Let me know if you have any questions. Again, $720 shipped in the CONUS.

I've got a 91 just like it. These Japanese 51s are pretty special, if mine is any indication.

Great price bump!!

Thanks, Ben.
They definitely are very nice instruments, with an undeniable vintage appeal.
And like I said, this one looks like it came straight from the factory.
Still avail!
