Specs on #1567:

-Black limba body
-Macassar ebony top
-Wenge neck/fingerboard
-double accent line (purple/black)
-24 frets -MTD "world" logo -9.55 lbs

This is a very nice 535 in great shape I traded another 535 for this bass wanting to trying the wenge neck and finger board. Great sounding MTD just like the other MTD's I have played but it seems as if maple and ash just sound more pleasant to my ears so I am put this bass up for sale to finance me a 534. If I decide to take trades it will be for a 534 only and I don't think it's very many of them.
Am asking 3000 + shipping
PRICE DROP

I'm the previous owner of this bass and it is a great MTD. The only reason I put it up for sale/trade is that I prefer 21 frets. I've owned several 535s and this was amongst my three favourites. The sound is rich and full-range. Nice and punchy with a grand piano-like tone. Equally great for holding it down and for comping. Incredibly even across the fingerboard and a fantastic slap sound (very consistent when switching between fingerstyle and slap). Really, I can't say enough good things about this bass. Also, Jonathan is a first class guy to deal with. Quick and efficient, honest and he'll give you the best packing job you've ever seen!

I'm going to bump this one again because it's such a nice bass. Really fantastic to play if you like 24 fretters. Wonderful tone and very responsive. My local luthier has always told me that he doesn't like wenge necks, but he had a real soft spot for this one.
