6 string fretless for sale

Sign in to disble this ad
Like new condition Dean Edge 6 6 string fretless. Bought as a backup last year, never used it. 35" scale. Active. Comes with case, Dean strap with straplocks, Dean polishing cloth, and case. Has roundwounds on it; came with them. Because I am in Hawaii, I will split the shipping costs with the buyer. I recently checked the Dean website and didn't see the Edge 6 listed anymore. $350.00 Plus half the shipping. Please e-mail for more info. punatic43@hawaiiantel.net

A couple more pics. Also, the fingerboard is rosewood. The finish is supposed to be a "wash" although not much of the wood grain really shows in my opinion.

After thinking about it, I will consider working some sort of trade towards a Fender Bassman tube head only (50, 70, 100, or 135)

Are those spare 9V batteries in the case? Smart.

I played one of these a few months ago in a store. I remember the sound being surprisingly decent for the price and the instrument being easier to get around than I thought it would be.

If this was a backup, what's your primary?

Yes, those are 9volt batt. My main bass is a Carvin LB76 fretless. It is the one seen in my avatar. Here it is so you can look at it closer.

I just sent you a PM with my address, to get an idea of how much the total shipping would be before the split.

Cheers!

I hadn't had the bass out of the case since I last posted the pics. I discovered today that some staining of the neck has occurred. It is some color that rubbed off from the lining of the case. It is on the back of the neck where it sits in the cradle of the case. I don't want to do anything to make it worse; if anyone has any suggestions on how to remove it, I'm listening. The pic shows it fairly well. Anyway, in the spirit of full disclosure, here it is. The neck has what appears to me a satin finish, or maybe an oiled finish?

I'm still waiting on your PM with the PayPal address from yesterday. Did you sell it to someone else?
