6 string--Modulus Quantum--almost new

Sign in to disble this ad
I cannot justify holding on to this beautiful bass anymore.
I have massive car repair bills I need to pay asap.

I never play it, and it has been mostly hardshell case kept (included) for less than one year since I bought it brand new.

Modulus Quantum 6
bluegreen burst
bartolinis
fretted, but no markers on neck (sweet looking)
immaculate condition...practically brand new.

List...over $4000
Retail...over $3000

WILL SELL......$ 2500

here is a link of Steve Lawson playing this bass at a clinic, a few days before I bought it (I was sitting next to camera man)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAdvWNB_2QE

and the photos from the original purchase

More info on this fantastic bass.....

serial number : 050409

electronics are : Bartolini pickups and Aguilar OBP-3 pre with
master volume, pickup blend, midrange, bass, treble

being a Modulus, it has a Carbon Fiber neck and a Phenolic fingerboard

From the FAQ:

"Bumping For Sale threads is allowed; however, delete all prior bumps when you add a new bump! Please also limit your bumps to one every 24 hours (if you list multiple items, please only bump one item per 24 hours)."

Most people just say "bump" or "bumpity-bump" or something like that.

Nice bass! I just got a Q5. I wouldn't mind getting a Q6 someday but I can't afford it at the moment.

Great looking bass....about $1000 over what I could spend right now if pressed.... ;-)

I love my Q5.....these truly are some of the most fun smooth feeling basses to play...and the finish on yours is awesome...

I have had so many Modulus' in my short life, but they all kicked butt. My first one was a 6 from 1990 and it was awesome. Also wish I had the cash for another (sold mine before the prices went through the roof )

Anyway, former Modulus owner bump, that bass is sexified.

Oh crap. You're in Sacramento? I think I'm having a near-debt experience.

If you still have this at the end of the month, let me know. I may be interested. I'll have some money then.

Would you consider a discount for cash and carry?

If this was a 4 string this thread would be over. I am not getting a 6 string Modulus until I have a 4....my Q5 loves me though.

This bass is gorgeous though.
