'62 AV RI Jazz Bass (mojo included)

Sign in to disble this ad
What's up homeslices!

Here we have a MIA 62's reissue Jazz Bass with some nice mojo made in the early 90's. I got this from TBer Joey Squid who said it's from 1990, and the serial seems to confirm that from the research I did. Finish on body and neck is nitro.
Some of the paint on the upper horn is worn off, and it features a few dings and even some checking on the back that adds beautifully to the vintage vibe. It includes the rear ashtray cover, but it has never been installed. Comes with the case pictured and all case candy. The pickups sound great, and it nails the vintage Jazz Bass tone.

All set-up and ready to go!
Weighs only 8.5lbs.

Price: An attractive SOLD to your door! Paypal is OK!
Will also consider trades, so feel free run them by me.

pstyle, I'm trying to figure out how a bass would get that upper horn wear without there being paint wear elsewhere.

Did Joey do a semi-relic job on it?

Very nice RI Jazz..

Nice bass. Is that a poly finish like or nitro?

It's a nitro finish. It's on ebay and I have over 60 people following the auction so I guess we'll see how it goes.
