MEMPHIS IS GONE! SOMEONE BUY THE DANO!
i plan on putting it back to bari tuning and possibly just keeping it. maybe ebaying it.
this is a brand new danelectro '63 reissue baritone guitar modified to be a bass VI. i had the nut filed to accept a slightly heavier set of strings, enlarged hole in low E tuner, and of course adjusted the truss rod to keep the action low. it's currently strung up with a set of GHS bass VI strings. will ship in the original box. little details: aluminum bridge and nut, rosewood board, single coil pickups, 3 way switch, 29.75" scale. close enough to 30" so the E doesn't sound all floppy and atrocious. nice clear sound, not all thumpy. super sounding guitar, sounds clips (as a baritone) are up at the danelectro.com site.
$250+s/h in the lower 48.

nut width? | i have no idea the body wood, it's pretty light, but i think that's 'cause the finish is nitro and it's about 30yrs old.
the nut width isn't narrow as a jazz or thick as your average precision, no idea the measurements, just how it feels compared to the precisions i've played. not as chunky as a '78 or a '98. it plays and feels great.
also, i'm open to trades. pedals and parts mostly.
