The bad news - This bass was actually used as a shield to fend off Barbarian invaders, and has the battle scars to prove it!
Mini-poll: Did anyone actually see the bass photo?
Seriously, the bass came to me this way, so I'm not exactly sure how to describe the dings all over this thing, nor can I imagine how they were made.
The wood grain you can see is gorgeous though, so perhaps some sanding and a refinish would really let you see what a beautiful piece of wood this is.
Also, the neck did manage to avoid whatever befell the body. It is in good condition and not beat up. Pricing seems fair since I saw just the loaded neck go for $80 just the other day.
