70s Univox Hi-Fyer (Hi-Flier) Short Scale Bass MIJ!

FS, mid-70s (74ish?) Univox Hi Flyer bass. Mad in Japan. Late Phase III--Humbuckers, metal switch tip. With original bridge cover and old Japanese foam! Terrific player, but short scale basses (30"), no matter how much I want them to be, are not my thing. Super light, action is terrific, excellent player. Really great condition, but previous owner, God bless him, filled in the two or three dings in the back with marker. I only noticed after very careful inspection at home (they are very carefully matched!).

Comes with the ugliest beat up chipboard case ever imagined.

Looking to get 460 plus VERY reasonable shipping how about 400 shipped from my warehouse (it's a pet food warehouse) in RI. Would likely be under 500 total.

Oh trades! Offers always considered, but I am REALLY trying to get rid of stuff. Nothing modern or modern sounding--my tastes skew towards the vintage, or vintage copies. I'd love to trade for a G&L L2K (Tribute--or not!) or some sort of Musicman thing, or maybe a Gibson or Epiphone thing (like those Rippers that came out in 2008). I have cash to add to the right deal.

Thanks for the good words! It is a great player, it just looks ridiculous against my 300 pound frame. And yes, that is a concern of mine--bass to body proportionality.
