78 Fender Musicmaster all original

Up for grabs is my cream 78 musicmaster.

Comes in the original cardboard case, but I'll pack it well for shipping.

Details,
Overall it is in great condition.
The neck is nice and plays well and it's in very nice condition.
The body has check marks in the paint around a number of the screw holes.
The pick guard has a small crack at the tip near the output jack, but the tip is not missing like on many pick guards.
The paint is in good condition minus the checking.
The pickup has low output and should be replaced, but I wanted to keep it all original so I never opted for a new one.

Looking for $625 shipped. $475 shipped to be the best deal on TB .

The only trade I'm really interested in would be an Aguilar TH500. I've got a new Markbass LMIII so if someone had the TH500 and wanted to work a nice package deal...

My preference is to sell, but as a gear whore, I'm always open to hear offers.

Hate using Paypal, but I'll accept it for this sale.

Thanks and Merry Christmas
Derrick

Are those some finish cracks in the body in pic 2?

Yes those are check marks in the paint. Basically the paint has checked near a number of the screw holes. It does not appear to go into the wood in any way, just in the paint.

The paint is original as is everything else.

Very nice bass! The pickup most likley just needs to be rewound. Than't a pretty inexpensive repair.

I was going to put an Aero into it, but I figured I'd let someone else hotrod it if they wish.
Thanks for the heads up on the pickup Jmceachern

Bump for my one and only price drop.

$575 shipped. The extra $50 off should cover a new pick up or rewinding the old one.

Happy delicious left overs Monday

My very first bass was a Black Fender Musicmaster, but I grew to 6'5" and tradded it for a Peavey T40 back in 1981. Great bass bump
