On hold for Boogie88!!!!
Selling my 80's Charvel / Jackson 3B. As you can see from the pics (sorry about the smudges on the body, should have cleaned her first) this one is in exceptional condition. Very, very little wear at all (couple chips pictured).
Neck and neck through are maple with poplar wings (I've read). Bass is pretty light. Guessing about 8 lbs. Plays great and action is set to medium/low. Bridge is a beast (Jackson's version of a Bad Ass). Tuners turn well, truss turns, etc, etc. I just put fresh nickle wounds on her. I bought this from a guy who had this under his bed for 12-15 years. This is a fine example of Japanese craftsmanship! This is not some junk, made in China bass. Bass looks, feels and plays like a truly quality made bass (which it is)!
Pre-amp is an active two-band. Knob config is:
(starting from neck)
Vol
treble boost/cut w center dent
Bass boost/cut w center dent
3-way switch is:
Neck
Neck/Bridge
Bridge
I'll toss in a brand new gig bag I bought and have not used yet. Bag is VERY well padded with lots of pockets and padded back-pack straps.
Edit: Lowered to just $275!!! It's a NICE bass for that cash! You don't see too many neck-thru, active pre-amp basses go for this money! Great example of an 80's bass in GREAT shape! Comes with Schaller strap locks.
Those are just smudges on the body that I should have wiped off before the photos.
The color is OK in real life (flash over-exposed the color), I was just taking a picture of the chipped paint in the below photo.
