'82/'83 Sunburst Squier Bullet 1 P Bass & Case $200 ...

Sign in to disble this ad
Somehow, through trades and impulse buys, this J bass guy ended up with 4 P basses ... 3 need to go ... this one came to me in a trade, and I allowed $200 for it, so that is what I am looking to get out of it ...

It is a MIJ Squier by Fender Bullet 1 Bass, actually in pretty good condition ... it is the Sunburst model, with maple neck/board, white pups/knobs/pickguard ... it really sounds and plays very nice, plenty of edge scratches, but no real major cuts/bruises/damage ... I can see where those that like these things REALLY like them, as the neck is even very comfortable for a Jazz guy like me ... neck and frets are good, tuners are still nice and tight, chrome is good ... tone pot is scratchy at times, and volume pot seems to turn off about mid way and only last few numbers really make much of a change, but when I use a P I will just back it off a bit, incase I need a little more volume on stage, and it would work fine for that ... input jack, seems a bit loose (internally), but I would be willing to be that a slight pressure on the prong would tighten it up just fine, but I have not and will not be taking the pickguard off to do it ... there is a Fender USA rectangle case included with it, although it is missing one hinge, and one latch (still 3 of each), and the top of the case looks like rolling hills (typical of this case, I have another the same way) ...

I had my wife take some photos of this, but she has not loaded them on here yet, but I probably wont be able to post them anyhow, so if you want to see them, send your email and I will send off when available ... this should be a VERY safe buy, as this thing will be worth this price the rest of its life, and more than likely only go up in value .. if it doesnt sell here, I will be parting out probably on EBAY, but it really is kind of a neat piece, and I would prefer to see it get some use, or at least appreciated for what it is, and even better, could be ... it has junk mismatched strings on it, that is the way that it came to me, and it even sounds good that way ... $200 local or + shppg ... if you want to leave me a phone #, I can call with bass in hand also, and give a detailed rundown of anything you want to know and details ... thanks for looking

If this doesn't sell to the "pending" buyer, let me know please. I'll be in MN on Friday and have a real soft spot for these.....
