'83 Fender Precision (USA) - blonde/maple

1983 American Fender P Bass - all original except pickup (SD SPB-2) and Badass bridge. Excellent condition - very little wear, and plays well. Some of you may remember seeing this for sale by the previous owner, and it had been exposed to some salt water in that little east coast debacle recently. Not submerged, and no visible water damage or anything, only a little oxidation visible on a few metal parts. Weighs in right at 9 lbs, and balances nicely. $750 shipped.

(Note: the white guard is original, and you'll get it either way. If you want the tort guard, I'll throw it in too.)

I like the fact that the different pickguards make the body color look different in the first two pics.

Well, the light isn't exactly the same in my two pics either - notice the difference in the porch floor color too.

Accept a compliment when it is given. Do you want me to start saying how awful, old, one-sided it looks and sounds?
By the way, got my 50s MIM today in Honey Blonde and I'm not jealous at all. Does yours have the same 1.75" nut width?

Yes, 1.75. Nice neck! (And so are the MIM '50s ones.)

Wow - I don't think I've ever gotten so many PMs overnight. Sorting through to see who's seriously interested....
