1984 US made Fender Precision bass. From the highly regarded Fullerton era. Bass is in excellent + condition. Black with Rosewood board. There is a small chip on the bottom edge of the bass (that would sit on your leg if playing while sitting). Other than that it is super clean.
Right now, it has a perfect fit 3ply B/W/B pickguard on it as well as black pickup covers. I have both the original white pickup covers as well as the original 1 ply white pickguard. Pickups and wiring are all original as well as bridge and tuners and all hardware. Wearing chromes at the moment.
Best of all I just had this bass Plek'd. The frets were actually in very good shape with not too much wear, they were just uneven. The bass plays and sounds great. I especially like the pancake neck. Nice and wide, but thin front to back. There is a lot of good info on TB about these basses. I just have 5 P-basses right now so I need to thin the herd.
Edit - forgot weight. Digital scale has it at 8.4 lbs!
Comes with very nice vintage style aftermarket case from Musicians Friend. $900 + shipping to CONUS
