1986 Japanese Fender E-Series Jazz Bass Special, and this one really has been made special -
P bass body with Jazz style neck
Gotoh style high mass bridge
Lindy Fralin P pup
Seymour Duncan Basslines Vintage J pup
Hipshot D tuner - I will include the original tuner as well
Strap locks
Metallic Pewter
Hard Shell Case
Neck is exceptional, finish is as well. Great player with a super warm P bass sound and a ripping burpy jazz tone. 450.00 shipped in CONUS in HSC. Money Order or Cashier's Check No trades please
It's wearing a BAII in these first few pics. This bridge was replaced with a Gotoh Style bridge which really straightened up the string to pickup alignment and took a lot of the mids (honk) out of the bass. The new bridge is seen in the pics of the bass taken while in the case
Badass String alignment
New bridge string alignment

And I gotta admit - I'm a little surprised at the lack of interest on this one. Everybody seems to love 80's Japanese Fenders, this one has outstanding upgrades, and the price is well below market for E-series Japanese basses. what's up people, Obama got your tongue?

Good luck with your sales and maybe we can get something worked out |
