90's Fender P bass "cowpoke"

Sign in to disble this ad
MIM Fender P/J Precision bass (early 90's), sometimes referred to as a "cowpoke" SOLD- $300.00
Bass is in excellent condition- some brush marks on pickguard, but that's about it. No blemishes in finish.
Trans ivory on front, opaque on back. Plays great- newish Chromes on it.
Sounds every bit an active P bass (because it is!) with the option of the single coil bridge to modify the sound- also sounds decent on it's own.
Nut measures less than a trad P bass, but not quite 1.5"- truly feels somewhere in between.
Light- weighs on the lighter side of 8.5 lbs.
Stacked pickup blend/volume (neck end) and stacked treble/bass (bridge end)
Active, w/o being overpowering. Bridge pup has the traditional fender noise when your not playing, but not noticeable once you start playing, regardless of volume.
Neck is straight; truss rod works fine
I got it in a local trade 4 months ago. I've played it a bit, but not enough to keep it.
I don't know if I'd call it a collectors item, but you don't see too many of these!
$350.00 CONUS, USPS money order or Paypal
Just noticed pics are on side- sorry about that.
