'97 Fender Jazz Bass...Noel Redding signed Limited Edition

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD....

This is a '97 Fender Noel Redding Jazz Bass Limited Edition in excellent condition. It was designed to be a copy of his '65 bass with his specs, it's signed and numbered. This bass is issue #109 of #1000, only 1000 of these basses were made. It plays and sounds really nice. Sunburst finish, one-piece maple neck, slab-style 20-fret rosewood fretboard with white dot markers, top-load bridge, 2 Jazz pickups, 2 volume and 1 tone control knobs, tortoise-w-b-w pickguard, chrome hardware, thumbrest, vintage-style hardware, Noel Redding facsimile signature on front of headstock, "Limited Edition" neck plate, strap button on back of headstock, 34" scale, 1-9/16" nut width, 9.6 lbs

Noel Redding (Jimi Hendrix Experience bassist) passed away a few years back. These bass's are only going to go up in price as a collector piece.

Price Reduction was asking $850, will reduce to $799...with shipping included within the mainland USA only.

I am the original owner, very little playing time on this bass. I am sorry I have to part with it.

I picked up #197 in late January and absolutely love it. Good luck with the sale!

I am not sure on the radius, but I hear it is a bit thicker than the average Jazz...

The back of the body shot shows a Made in Japan at the base of the neck just above the neck plate....

It's CIJ and the craftsmanship is superb and this bass is a bit rare. Here is a good thread on CIJ & MIJ basses...
