'97 MINT Fender Roscoe Beck V 5 Shoreline Gold NO TRADES

SOLD!!

This is the typical TB dominoes deal. I bought this, so now I gotta sell that.

I love this bass, but I just bought an NYC Sadowsky, so now I have to pay for it. This bass is in absolutely exceptional condition for 1997. I can not determine a single ding. I got it only last year, and the majority of the PG film was still in place.

If you have any interest in the RBV, this is the perfect example.

I am asking $1,200 shipped and insured. Includes the original tweed case. The case has bit of staining on the outside, but otherwise it is absolutely solid.

Thank you for the interest and let me know if you need additional detail.

So I'm thinking, if I can get $1200 for my Stingray, I'd buy this.

But then I saw the ADPV...hmmm...

Then I saw your ray...

Bump for futility

If you have ever regretted not buying a Shoreline Gold RBV and keeping it in pristine condition for 13 years, here's your chance to redeem yourself. Someone else has done just that, and now you can buy it.

Bump in the name of restored hope for that person.

Once again, no trades. I have already bought the bass I want. Thanks in advance and have a great day!!

Bump - I owned a similar bass for a while, and enjoyed it so much that the seller's remorse led me to buy yet another.

Damn, somebody snag this bass. I, too, have a '97 Roscoe Beck 5-stringer, teal green and there's NO FREAKIN' WAY I'd sell it. I'd snag it except I got the purple helmet for an '08 American Standard Precision.

Yes, it is sort of a "bulked up" jazz. The body is fully a jazz style -- offset waist, deep forearm relief cut. But is seems a little chunkier than a more conventional jazz. It is certainly bulkier than the 2008 ASJV that I had.

As for the tone circuit? It's a jazz, plus about any other tone you could ever want out of it. The most diverse passive bass I have ever been around. If Fender doesn't want to build these anymore, someone should reverse engineer the design and start offering them.

Lakland, are you listening?

This bass is SOLD pending payment of remaining balance. I am closing the thread but will re-open if the wheels come off the deal.
