Check it out guys. I need to drum up some money. Here's a 96-98 ADP. Not sure of the year but it has the older tuners on it. I'm selling it very cheap because it needs a little electical help. I wanted to try a passive P, I didn't want to shell out the cash for a differant bass and I liked the looks of this bass, espeicially with the covers and the tort guard. So, I removed the preamp and installed a SD quarter pounder and wired it up passive. Just like the diagram on the SD site for a PJ config. I used a kit that I got from bass parts resource for the pots (250cts) and the cap (I don't remember but it's a pretty big orange barrel shaped thing). Anyway, it's kinda noisy and there's a big differance in the output of the pickups. Sounds great if just the P pickup is dialed in but the rear pickup is kind of weak sounding by itself. I guess it just needs to be wired differantly or something. Somebody that knows what's going on and how to mod it right I suppose. Anyway it's a great playing bass, the neck is perfect. There's one ding in the body but it's super small and you have to be looking right at it to see it. I'd say it's a easy 9.5 our of ten. I'll throw in the original pre and the original P pickup. I'd like to get 6 bills plus 30 for shiping. Let's talk.
Some pics.
