'98 Cirrus - Walnut/Bubinga + Ebony/Amboyna Burl

Price Drop - $800 shipped!!

I recently bought this from Fekwood, and while it's an incredible bass, it just isn't my thing. It's everything he describes it as in his post, it looks brand new, the action is incredible, the wood is beautiful, it's dead quiet, and his hand crafted knbs are wonderful!
I thought I'd try it, but I just can't warm up to it, I guess I'm too accustomed to a certain feel, body style & sound.
So it's up for grabs, I'd just like the original price for it, $850 (now $800) shipped!

Here's the original thread:

Roy, it's an incredible bass, everything you described it as and more! But just didn't click for me, we all have our idiosyncrocies concerning what we're comfortable with.

I think the thumb rest is a deal breaker for me. I play with my thumb nudged right in between the pups. If the thumb rest were removed, there would be two holes.

Otherwise, I've stayed up dreaming about this bass some nights !

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my '99 bubinga ! Someone will truly love this bass.

And I rest my thumb right on the neck pup, so the thumb rest was just eye candy to me!

Hey Mike, you should buy this, switch the knobs with yours, and then turn this around again. You'd have your bass & these knobs, everyone would be happy!

These knobs are like Dorothy's Ruby slippers, they can't be removed from this bass until it changes hands!
