Picked this up in a trade. Its a California series P bass special, at least that what it started life as.

Links for pics of this slut-mut.

Issues: extra string tree on headstock-don't know why
gold schaller E de-tuner, rest original chrome-don't know why
non-original F neck plate with non-matching serial number-don't know why
Bass-line pickups- probably an okay upgrade
black badass bridge- don't know why, I prefer the simple Fender original
black knurled knobs to match bridge- matter of taste, not my thing
burnt headstock- really not my style but not much I can do about that one
aftermarket black pickguard-I guess to match bridge and knobs
She actually plays alright. Jazz width neck.
Original owner will provide original pickguard, bridge and E tuner so at least some of the fugliness can be reduced. I can ship those parts seperately when they arrive.
Body and paint in remarkably good condition. Most wear is on the neck and headstock although fret have plenty of life left. I'd give this one a 7/10.
This would be the perfect beater bass you take to any gig.
Asking $550, I'll split shipping in cont. US. Paypal only.
Thanks.

How about $510 shipped.

Found and installed a real Fender bridge. Will still include the badass bridge. Removed extra string retainer on headstock.
