98 Warwick Corvette FNA- wenge content PRICE DROP

Sign in to disble this ad

1998 Corvette FNA- basically a fancy-topped Corvette w/a MM humbucker. Ash body, flame maple top(walnut or something similar accent layer), full wenge neck. Seymour Duncan PU & 18V preamp w/3-band EQ & pushpull slap contour. Gold hardware w/Hipshot on the E(original tuner included), recessed Dunlop straplocks & all needed parts(I'll throw in a black canvas GC strap). Very good shape- IIRC I am the second owner, and it was absolutely immaculate when I got it a couple of years ago. I have a cpouple of beatup hardcases or a nicer gigbag; I pack to survive most natural disasters & insure fully. I initially asked for what I paid for it($895), but will now settle for $850; I'll split shipping in the CONUS. I will entertain any/all trade or lowball offers, but I need to get at least a little bit of cash out of this; I've vowed to sell to fund my boy a new bike. Feel free to PM or post w/any questions.

No, thanks very much- I have my fretted 4 needs covered, and would very much like to turn this at least partially into cash.

You mention it was absolutely immaculate when you bought it. Is it still? Any scratches, dings, dents at all? Thanks!

There is some very light player wear to the face but nothing too bad; I'll take some new pictures when the sun visits us.

Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in seeing more pics. Thanks.

Amazingly, the sun is out today.
I'll do the pics ASAP but it may be late tonight before I get them up; we recently had to redo our entire computer & I'm even less sure how to load stuff(my wife usually holds my hand & walks me through the process, if not does it all herself ).
Thanks for the interest.

Edit: Late in the day, haven't got the pics done & won't today- hopefully tomorrow. I did buff out the frets, though.
Edit #2: Sunny today- busy, but I should be able to make some progress.

Still suckin'
I took some the other day, but the holidays have kept us busy- lots of personal stuff going on- all conspiring to keep the pics unseen. I'd promise to get on them tomorrow, but I know the craziness is not about to end. Dunno if I mentioned it but I removed the strings & polished the frets- looks nice!

Edit: We're hitting Disney- & Legoland next week- back late Friday night.

Not much different from the old photo, but I've not put a lot of wear on it. If there's anything specific anyone wants to see, let me know.

The rear- nice piece of ash...
