For sale or trade.
I've had many offers for this bass, but no deals have gone through.
Hard to count all the wood on it. The top and back are sweet flame maple. It has a mahogany core. The neck has maple, mahogany, wenge, purpleheart. It has a perfect ebony board. The frets were redone in 2004 and I haven't put that much time on it, but I've used nickles on it exclusively, so the medium frets are perfect.
It is absolutely beautiful and plays like butter. It has fabulous Lane Poors soapbars, and a 9v Bartolini B-T pre. 18mm spacing and around 9lbs. Adjustable bridge, straplocks. It comes with an Acacia padded gigbag. $1700 plus shipping and it's yours. Or talk to me...I'm interested in trades.
Thanks for looking.

They're loaded w/ Alembic AE-3 soapbars and filter pre!!! Check linky in signature.
Thanks. |

Thanks. | Not really my cup of tea.
I feel your pain. I'm astounded in the lack of interest in my Acacia. |

Acacias are a single form of bass like no other. Perhaps the most ergonomic basses ever created, when loaded with Lane Poors they achieve a very appealing tone- IIRC they were Matt's preferred pick up to put in his creations. If you play a sixer, you should do everything you can to grab the money for this one. |
