Acacia 6 string bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Acacia six string. Wenge wing tops and backs, wenge, maple, mahogany, bloodwood, purple heart 13 piece neck. Mahogany core, east indian rosewood board. EMG active pups with vol/ tone for each pup. Comes with a worn but well protecting incase dub bag. Plays and sounds great, has some wear and been played a bit but as you can see it's a beautiful bass. On a personal note, Acacias seem like the ultimate laminate bass, I truly wish Matt was still making them but I guess it adds to the allure of them. 1400 shipped.

Thanks, I hate that I didn't have it in time to work out something with your Am DLX. A 5 super jazz or a Rob Allen are the only things I'm looking for now.

Yes indeed, we would have worked a deal for sure. That bass is a work of art.

34" scale, 2" nut width, and I believe it is set at 18mm right now but you can see the bridge is adjustable and I think it could be widened a tad if you wanted.

And underrated. I had a 5'er about 10 years ago, and sold it like a fool. That thing had the SICKEST growling mids! Good luck with the sale.

Wow, absolutely stunning instrument! I'm also a sucker for curved bodies. If only I played 6 strings....and had money. Free bump!
