Acacia custom NT fanned fret with burl maple diagonal sized block inlays. Again, I'm pretty sure about the woods but could be wrong. Maybe Jake Wolf can correct me if I'm wrong. Mahogany body wings, Burl maple top and back, Jatoba neck with maple and mohogany. Gaboon ebony fingerboard and I think the bridge is rosewood?..or ebony. Custom hand milled brass saddles. Custom wound Bartolini dual coils. Neck is a "C" coil and the bridge pickup is the "CX" coil. John East U-Retro pre. I played this bass a lot when I was in NYC and people always commented that it was one of the best sounding instruments they've listened to.
Typical playing wear and a former owner, cough..justin...put in a hipshot tuner and some of the headstock was mortised out. No structural issue with it just no very pretty. Again it's on the back of the headstock. I tried to photograph it and it didn't come out as well as it should. I can take additional for serious buyers.
$2100-Shipped US 48..NO TRADES. comes with an undercover gigbag with the Acacia logo. YouTube - The Frup - Where's My Fire Acacia pictures by fivestringdan - Photobucket

When you leave Matt's shop you think you can do anything. I thought wrong If anybody in or around Cincy/Dayton/Southwest ohio ends up with this I'll gladly clean it up no charge at my shop. You learn a lot 9 years after trying things...
OH, and this bass F'ing rocks. If only it had one less string I'd still own it! |

although I thought the back of the headstock carving was from when I installed 2 detuners, on the C and G string.. I sure do miss it though |
