ADLER Custom 5-String - Figured Bubinga Top, Bartolini + Aggie OBP3 - PRICE DROP!

Just got this recently - never tried an Adler before and had to have it. It's everything I've read about - superb construction, super fast neck, fat tone and aesthetically gorgeous. But it's 35" scale and I prefer 34" scale or below, so putting on the block.

Mike Adler is no longer building basses, so these won't be showing up often. This particular bass was an earlier custom - the original owner wanted a downsized "Warwick-esque" body. Figured bubinga top, bubinga wings and headstock cap, multi-laminate flame maple neck. Neck is really thin and super fast. Just had the frets cleaned up and the action is super low. Bartolini soapbar coupled with an Aguilar OBP-3 - massive tone. String spacing at the bridge is 18mm.

[b]Selling for $1200 $1050 shipped, no trades at this time. Comes with a non-original gig bag. International shipping is no problem, just PM me for a quote.

Mike Adler. Definitely one of the unsung talents of modern bass building.

PM's answered. Jauqo is right...Mike Adler is definitely one of the best builders no one has ever heard of. These necks are amazing. If it were 34" scale, I would not be selling it.

SWEEEEET!!!!!!!! Bubinga is one of my favorite tone woods, too!!! How does the tone compare to, say, a Stingray or Thumb?

It's somewhere in between Thumb and a Streamer Stage I (the all maple one). Really throaty mids like the Thumb with the top end snap of a Streamer. The neck is FAR slimmer than any Warwick though.
