Alembic copy project 32" scale

Now looking for trades!!

Not sure if this belongs here or in the parts.
I bought this bass 10yrs ago and I realise I will never have the time to complete it.
Apparently, the guy who made it spent 500$ on the body wood alone. He did an awesome job, but, I don't think he knew much about necks.
When I bought it it had frets. One fret fell out and there was steel wool remnants in the slot. I also noticed the fretboard was flat...it has no profile. I did a bit of sanding, but it needs more.
Very high quality stuff. Would make a great medium scale fretless. The fret slots are quite wide, but the rosewood is really thick so it could be sanded down quite a bit.
This is kind of a feeler as I don't want to give this away and want back what I paid which is 400$. I do have good black tuners and the cover for the back.

Its a 32" scale. Nice flat profile neck...you can almost string it up and play it as is fretless. Just the fretboard has no profile.
Unfortunately..I can't find the neckplate which was black. The neck fits perfectly into the pocket and is nice and snug.
I did three coats of tru oil and it needs a bit of sanding/buffing and she's almost done.

I loosened the truss rod then tightened it just a bit and it works fine.
The neck pocket is 2.5" (Maybe a hair under) x 3.5"
There is no nut on the neck as well.

I've given up on the 70's jazz parts, I would trade for a Genz Benz 6.0 and I would add 150$.

Can anyone verify if the neck pocket measurements are standard? Since it is a bolt on why not have a fretted and a fret-less. Can you install a 34"scale neck on it? I think inquiring minds wanna know.

Can you tell me what specific pickups this bass was routed for? I know they are Jazz cuts but what particular brand of J pickups?

Sorry, I'm not savvy enough to know. The cuts are the same size and when I got the bass I was going to put in EMG's which I had and they fit.
The body would not work for a 34" scale, I don't really want to separate them as they were made together and fit together really well.
I did list the neck pocket dimensions.
There are fret holes so if you know what you are doing it would be pretty easy to re-fret (no cutting)

I am not talking about separating the bass and the neck. I wanna know. If any one here can answer my questions feel free. There are a lot of luthiers out there that may think these questions pertinent to the sale of this bass.

Well...I'm sorry if there has been some confusion with my answers. I am buy no means an expert.
I measured the pickup routes and they measure 3 3/4" long and 13/16" wide.
For a reference, I have a set of Geddy Lee PUP's and they fit perfectly.
Hope this helps
