Damn! I once owned her bigger sister, a '78 with 34" scale. Always wished that bass had the 32" instead. Damn!

Speaking as a multiple Series bass owner, $3750 is a very fair price for a Series 1 in this condition (I've seen several go for $1000 more lately) and less than 10 pounds is unusually light. Both of my small-body basses weigh more than this one.

Very nice bass. Have the electronics had the upgrade?

I think it's all original, but I've never had problems with RF or noise.

Very possible. I have a S-2 that is still original and I have no problem with RF on it either.

If you don't mind me asking why are you selling it? It is such a nice bass.

That's a real piece of history there. Good luck with the sale.

I miss my '75 SI sometimes.

Bump for one of the classics of the bass world.
