This is a unique bass from Alfonso Iturra, being one of the first in this line of ‘scroll-productions’. It features an oiled finish... Body core is Chestnut with Rosewood top (and matching headstock cap)
Neck is set/neck-thru with 5-piece construction of Bubinga (central), with contrasting laminates of walnut, divided by maple accents or ‘stringers’.
Fingerboard is ebony: unlined – but with sidelines (and dots) and with sidelines to the top/G side from position (frets) __ to 27
Plays like a dream with (currently fitted) Thomastik Infeld flatwounds.
