Alien Audio Lunar 5 FS/FT

I'm selling my Alien Audio Lunar 5. I recently bought a Dingwall P bass that covers roughly the same ground, so I'm letting this one go. In addition to having a super-cool 2TEK bridge this bass has the best rock-geared preamp I've ever encountered:

Small knobs: bass and treble (I felt like you could boost the bass quite a bit especially to get a great p tone with the treble in the center spot). In the center pickup position, I liked to boost the bass a lot and the treble about halfway.
The master volume knob (closest to the bridge) is an overdrive circuit when pulled, the middle knob is the pickup blend, and the tone knob closest to the neck is a standard tone knob but when you pull it makes the bass brighter. I am not sure what it does but it opens up the top end of the bass quite a bit.

Cosmetic condition is quite good, a few scratches and a ding or two but overall its in very good shape. The bass includes what I think is the original hard-case (don't quote me), and a nice souldier strap.

Price is $1000 plus shipping, and I will entertain offers on a trade for a fretless (or maybe a fretted bass with an ebony fingerboard if you have something hip).

If you live in MN and have an upright you're trying to unload let me know and we can work something out.
