For sale, possibly for trade. 2009 NAMM Alleva Coppolo KBP4 Classic. Nitro Burgandy Mist Alder body with matching headstock, really nicely figured Rosewood fboard. 8.1 pounds, 1 5/8" at the nut. Looks fabulous; plays and sounds like the best P-bass ever made, bar none. $2,900.00 shipped. Preferred trades would be for fretted five string basses - i.e. Alleva Coppolo, Nordy, MTD, Skjold, Fodera NYC, F Bass, Sadowsky, etc. Some pics:
Please note: there is one ding (there when I got it) on the outside edge above the bottom strap button. It has been professionally repaired, but it is there. Jimmy says he prefers his basses to have signs of being played. In his words, they "add character".
