what is the "thingy" on top of the neck? some kinda cover? Body is alder? Big frets or skinny? nut width? weight?

thin plastic neck/fret cover (mainly for shipping, A~C logo embossed at bottom) nice touch! Alder body,
1 7/8" nut, med frets (standard size as to A~C specs),no scale i would guess 9 1/2 lbs great balance and feel.

The strings are Alleva~Coppolo brand strings, nickel or ss... They are specially made for Jimmy by a Turkish company. They are the only ss strings I've liked so far.

I know it's a lot of money but these are worth every penny... I love my LM5 and can't wait til my LG5 is finished.
