Ampeg AEB-2 for Sale!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an Ampeg Scroll Bass for sale made by Bruce Johnson. Bruce was hired by Ampeg to make re-issues for Ampeg but the idea was scraped. This bass has no fret markers on the fingerboard and the frets are mandolin wire. The bass is in mint condition. Check out the link below to read up on Bruce and his basses. Mine is identical to the fretted model without fret dots. The bass comes with a gig bag and an extra set of flat wound strings.

I'm asking $1,500, no trades. I need cash for a new bow being made. Will post pictures soon.

Oh man, I've always loved the look of those, and GASsed for one intensely for the longest time. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to pick this one up, but here's a bump for an extremely cool bass!

If I wasn't saving money to move soon, I'd be all over this! I had an original 60s fretless AUB-1 that I will always regret selling...never would have it it had frets!

These days there are very few things that really give me GAS. This bass makes that short list.

Bump for one heckuva nice bass.

Wow. If that was a car it would be Duesenberg Phaeton.
