This is the wood version of the Dan Armstrong plexi basses that Ampeg brought back Between 1999 and 2002. This one is from the '99 - '00 timeframe. Overall condition is good. This has been played, so there are light scratches, and a couple of areas along the edge where the paint has chipped (common for these basses). These are extremely comfortable to play. Light, with a fast neck. Makes a 4 hour gig a breeze. Tone is monstrous, and the bass is extremely loud for a passive. This is a beautiful example, and comes with a few extras. Here are some specs, and what's included:
30" short scale
Basswood body
Beautiful quilted maple top
24 frets
String thru body or top load
