This is a crazy rare bird. I've never seen another one, so I am assuming it's a custom order or one off.
Aria Pro II M-Series bass in gold/yellow metal flake with matching headstock, body binding, and block inlays! The back of the body is flat with the usual belly rest contour but the front has a nice arched curve to it, similar to what many hollowbody or archtop axes have. The headstock also kicks back like many classic hollowbody bass headstocks. I'm sure luthiers have names for these attributes but I'm a player, not a builder. Anywho...
Powered by two fat soapbars and a killer sounding active preamp. I believe that's an active/passive switch on the control layout and either 2 band eq with pickup select knob or just a 3 band eq. The knob in question definitely brings out the mids heavily, but it works when the switch is toggled out of what I think is active position, so I think it's likely a pickup selector.
As seen in the pics, this bass is in EXCELLENT condition! I didn't play it that much as I gravitate to fivers, but spent much time staring at it. As always, pictures just don't capture the stunning metal flake paint job. It is a looker! That's the original plastic film peeling off the battery box. Here is a link to detailed pics:
