Aria Pro II SB1000 Superbass Project

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is a 1982 Aria Pro II SB1000 Superbass with no electronics. The electrics have been gutted long ago, so this is a project.

The original body routes for the switch, LED and pots were expanded to 1/4" to accomodate a Bart or similar three band EQ. The pickup route has not been changed and can accomodate either an original Aria pickup or and EMG 40 Khz which is what was in this bass when I acquired it. My recommendation is you snag the EMG and a three band EQ on ebay or here on TB and for $100 you are rockin!

With the exception of the thin wood truss rod cover which I have misplaced, all original hardware is intact and in great working order, and the bass itself is in top condition (save for a ding and some roughness where the body routes were expanded as pictured below) and all strung up and ready to go.

Asking $400 shipped. Trades for non-project basses and best offers are always welcome. Feel free to PM with any offers or questions.

Thanks for looking.

RBM

Lessee:
G&L MFD set like an L1000 with volume, treble, bass: that's three holes filled.
Another hole for the coil tap.
Another hole with a varitone pot.
Last one with the output jack.

A Darkstar with a preamp would similarly rawk.

Great project! Bump!
