Aria Pro II ZZB Custom Explorer Black/White (Matsumoku)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys, I'm applying for grad school and need to make room for application and GRE fees . Up for sale is my Black/White Matsumoku Aria Pro II ZZB Custom Explorer. I bought this from eBay about a year ago. It has that monstrous short scale (32") thump. The pickups on this thing are amazing, full, warm, and bassy. It has the usual 30 year old explorer dings on the corners and the previous owner scratched his name and address on the back of the headstock and bottom edge of the guitar. Other than that it is in good condition and sounds awesome. It didn't come with the original case when I bought it, but I have a Black Cross case that it fits beautifully in. I also have the matching guitar with the original case for sale. Thanks for looking.

$500 shipped or local p/u.

Matching Guitar: Aria Pro II ZZ Custom Black/White Explorer (Matsumoku)

I really wanted to hold on to these but desperate times call for desperate measures, so I am bumping them back up. E-mail me @ jhurley2@mail.usf.edu for a faster response. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, sorry, I don't know why, or where those pictures are. I think my facebook is public, they're all on there, here's a link to the pics:

such a great bass, i have the same model, '85 zzb custom. well, two of them actually. one the black/white and one a kinda of metallic maroon burst. for anyone interested in purchasing bacid's, they are amazing basses. the playability is phenomenal, those old japanese pickups absolutely kill, and not to mention they are some of the most badass looking instruments around. i'm actually trying to get a hold of a zebra-print one if i can find it. not many people want to get rid of these basses, and for good reason.

also, bacid, those don't look like the original saddles, is that a "custom" bridge on the bass?

Resurrection bump! For sale again! I don't know about the saddles, it's in the same condition that I purchased it in. Except for the knobs, they were missing so I replaced them with those black ones.

The buyer on eBay backed out of the deal. I figured I would list it here again just in case there is any interest. $349.99 shipped OBO
