I’m selling my Warmoth Gecko 6 string to finance a new Roscoe 6. The bass is in very good condition. I would give it an 8.5/10 condition wise overall. The action is low and super fast. The bass comes with a paded gig bag. I have included pics below. I am asking $750 (the body and neck alone would cost $620) shipped U.S. lower 48. I am also willing to ship internationally.
Features:
35” scale
Pau Ferro fingerboard
5-piece laminated Maple Neck
Kahler bass bridge
Swamp Ash Body
Quilt Maple Top
Chrome Gotoh Tuners
Chrome Schaller Strap locks
Seymour Duncan ASB6 Active Soapbar Pickups
18 Volt Aguilar OBP-3 Onboard Preamp with push/pull mid selector
Just trying to be helpful. When I went through the process of putting together my Warmoth years ago the Gecko 6 was 16.5mm at the bridge and no more. So maybe they have changed or this was some type of custom build. It looks Warmoth-tight to my eye, though.
In any case, the most reliable way is to measure center-on-center all the way from B to C and then divide by five (6 strings, 5 spaces!).
Warmoth puts out excellent parts. The fingerboard on my fretless was one of the nicest chunks of ebony I have ever seen.
I'd be interested in trades for a 5 string Stingray, Sterling, P-Bass Deluxe or Jazz preferably with a maple neck. Feel free to throw any other cool 5 stringers past me. Let me know what you got.
