Atkinson P-bass.

Got this really cool P-bass a few weeks ago,and plays great, sounds like a P-bass is supposed to,but I keep going back to my Sterlings. The color is Sonic Blue(I think) with a tort guard, and rosewood board. It has a nice relic job that Atkins is known for.The neck is a Jazz width (1.5"),but a bit thicker. 500.00 shipped to the lower 48 states only.Payment via cashiers check or Money order only. No Paypal. Might trade for a bass cab,or other gear of equal value.

Wow!!

Probably stupid question..but... Does it say Fender on the headstock?

Also, is the neck a "club" or thinner modern P style?

Many thanks as I'm drooling..

I guess he put fender decals on the neck on the earlier builds. The neck is a jazz width, but is a bit thicker. Very comfortable.

Hope this isn't out of line, but this is my old bass. So: the pickup is a Duncan SPB-1, if I recall correctly. Very vintage-thumpy. And the weight was definitely not over 9.

(And yes, the Fender decal was my custom order - before he stopped offering it as an option.)

Good luck with the sale! It's a nice P bass.
