This is a very kool custom build (not an off-the-shelf Fender) Ultra high-gloss Aztec Gold Metallic color finish.
Made In Japan a/m body and electronics...all brand new. Nearly noiseless passive MIJ Jazz Bass pickups, 250K pots w/chicklet tone cap, alder body. Has a 2010 P NOS CV rosewood neck, brand new VID's in Vintage Ivory Pearl, Chrome string retainer bar, painted Aztec Gold headstock and new FJB waterslide decal (not buried, so its removable if you so choose) Also has a brand new set of MIK oversized Geddy Lee style MIK tuners installed.
In my opinion...sounds and plays better than any MIM Fender Jazz, and comes pretty darn close to sounding like a USA Jazz....except for the price. Brand new roundwound 40-100's too.
HEADS UP: This bass sounds MUCH more powerful and deeper than a standard Jazz bass. The neck pup nails a fat Precision sound to a TEE, and the bridge pup is very Jaco...middy and bright...together they sound a LOT like a MM Stingray. If you are looking for a twerpy sounding Jazz...this isn't for you. It is also much louder compared to a MIM Jazz at the exact same amp settings too.
For those with bad backs...this bass weighs in at only 7.3 pounds!!! (not a mis-print)
No issues, no scuffs, no boogers!
$425 includes brand new gig bag, and a brand new set of chrome Fender bridge and pickup covers too, never installed or drilled. (or $400 w/o the covers. (plus actual shipping please)
PM me with your email if you'd like more pics!!
THIS BASS WILL ABSOLUTELY GLOW ON STAGE, and is certain to make the foxes throw spare change at you during the gig!!~

Unfortunately, I saddled myself with a Spector Legend 6 that I can't pair with a new owner/sucker that wants to learn a 6er.
No new horns allowed (wife) until I get rid of something first.
This bass is on my mind. |

BTW, the weight of the basses he's sold should warrant a price far ABOVE what he's asked! When I'm back on my feet financially, I'm giving him a call.

...And remember, "idle hands are the work of the devil," so I certainly hope you keep 'em coming, neighbor. |
