On January 26th I'm marrying my sweetheart, & purchasing my first home so I'm selling all I own that I don't literally use everyday. I love this bass but I haven't had a chance to make it my full time player. I acquired this bass slightly used basically as you see it here from a buddy of mine and I've gigged with it for only one set. I don't believe the previous owner used the bass much either.

This bass plays awesome, it has always been adult owned, kept in a smoke free home away from humidity, and sounds huge. I've been able to get tones from Jarred Followill (K.O.L.) to John Entwistle (The Who) and all in between.


To build this bass you'd spend about $1750. And I've recently seen a similar Fenderbird up for sale with half the mojo for hundreds of dollars more.

If you buy this bass, be prepared to spend 20 minutes per gig talking to fans/fellow players asking about it. It's a head tuner like no other. The Apricot Flake is such a bad ass color. It can be "bright" in direct light, but really tames down in the shadows and looks Wine Red. The contrasting clear gloss maple fret board sets the whole bass off.

This is the perfect Fenderbird build in my opinion. Perfect amount of original vintage Entwistle vibe mixed with modern/new age details like the Alumitone pups, black hardware, etc...


Mentionable Imperfections:
•3-4 small 'nicks' in the flake finish around the "under your forearm" area (shown in detail in the video)
•Some very typical flake finish removed around truss rod access hole (shown in detail in the video)
•Edge of the Nut is off half way UNDER the E string groove (shown in detail in the video)
